Points Rewards Program¶
Welcome to the Points Rewards Program! This guide explains how members can earn Points, our versatile platform currency, by actively participating across the entire SQWARE ecosystem, including SQWARE Games, SQWARE Terminal, and other services.
Overview¶
The Points Rewards Program awards Points (our platform currency) to members for engaging with SQWARE services. These Points can then be used for a wide range of benefits across the platform, including in-game items in SQWARE Games, terminal feature unlocks, and exclusive access. We are also exploring the future potential for Points to be exchangeable for SQWARE Tokens, intended to offer further utility and community engagement opportunities within the ecosystem.
Our system is designed to reward genuine participation and contribution to the SQWARE community and ecosystem.
Earning Points in SQWARE Games¶
In SQWARE Games, you can earn points through various activities:
- Achievements: Complete in-game goals to earn points based on their difficulty and significance.
- Gameplay: Earn points based on your playtime and regular engagement with our game servers (Skyblock, KitPvP, Survival, etc.).
- Competitions & Events: Win or actively participate in tournaments and server events for bonus point rewards.
- Referrals: Invite friends to join SQWARE Games and earn bonus points when they play and reach certain milestones.
Event Multipliers (SQWARE Games)¶
Boost your earnings during special periods:
- Weekends: 2x Points
- Tournaments: 3x Points
- Special Events: 5x Points (or as announced)
Fair Play Promise (SQWARE Games)¶
SQWARE Games is committed to a fair gaming environment. Our Points system reflects this:
- No Gameplay Advantages for Purchase: We will never sell items or perks that provide a direct gameplay advantage over other players.
- No Purchase Required to Compete: Core gameplay and the ability to compete are free and accessible to all.
- Rewards Skill and Dedication: The Points system is designed to reward genuine skill, effort, and time spent in-game.
- Focus on Cosmetics and Quality of Life (QoL): Redeemable items primarily focus on cosmetics (skins, effects, etc.) and quality-of-life improvements that do not impact competitive balance.
Earning Points in SQWARE Terminal & Other Services¶
Details on earning points through SQWARE Terminal usage (e.g., utilizing specific features, data consumption for Professional tier users) and other platform services will be detailed on their respective documentation pages and the main SQWARE Dashboard.
How to Join¶
To participate in the Points Rewards Program:
- Sign into your SQWARE Account: Access via the main SQWARE website or any of our platform services (Games, Terminal).
- Link Additional Accounts (Optional but Recommended): Connect social and game accounts (e.g., Discord) for a complete engagement record and potential bonus opportunities.
- Engage & Earn: You are now eligible and will automatically receive rewards for active and fair participation across the ecosystem.
Using Your Points¶
- Platform-Wide Utility: Earned Points function as a currency across the SQWARE platform. They can be used to obtain in-game items and perks in SQWARE Games, unlock features or access specific data sets/tools in SQWARE Terminal, and gain platform-level benefits. In the future, Points may also be exchangeable for SQWARE Tokens, which are envisioned to unlock additional platform-wide utilities and community-focused features. Specific ways to use Points are detailed on the SQWARE Dashboard and relevant service pages.
Program Guidelines¶
- Consistent Engagement: Regular and meaningful participation usually results in more Points.
- Fairness and Integrity: SQWARE uses systems to ensure fair Point distribution, with measures in place to prevent exploitation or misuse. Accounts found attempting to abuse the Points system may be penalized.
