Acceptable Use Policy

1. Acceptance and scope

In these terms, "SQWARE," "we," "us," and "our" refer to SQWARE, which is operated by Astra Labs.

By accessing or using SQWARE, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, the Privacy Policy, and the Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

SQWARE provides discovery, listing, community, moderation, analytics, checkout, and commerce-related features for Minecraft-adjacent communities and services. SQWARE is not Mojang, Microsoft, or the operator of third-party servers listed on the platform unless expressly stated.

2. Accounts and access

  • You must provide accurate information when creating or using an account.
  • You are responsible for activity on your account and for safeguarding your password, devices, and session access.
  • You may not share credentials in a way that creates security or abuse risks for the platform.
  • We may refuse registration, require verification, or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the platform, or service integrity.

3. Your content and rights

You retain ownership of content you submit to SQWARE, subject to rights you grant us in order to operate the service.

3.1 License you grant to SQWARE

By submitting content, you grant SQWARE a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, adapt for layout or moderation, cache, publish, display, distribute, and otherwise use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, market, improve, secure, and administer the platform and related services.

3.2 What you promise

  • You have the right to submit the content and the authority to represent the server, service, or project involved.
  • Your content is not unlawful, deceptive, infringing, malicious, or in violation of the Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Your listing information is materially accurate and not intentionally misleading.

Important: SQWARE may preserve technical copies, cached versions, moderation records, or records needed for legal, operational, and integrity purposes even after you edit or remove certain content.

4. Listings, rankings, and moderation

  • SQWARE may review, approve, reject, edit formatting, annotate, de-prioritize, suspend, or remove listings for safety, trust, quality, legal, or operational reasons.
  • We do not guarantee approval, visibility, ranking position, traffic, conversion, uptime, or outcomes from being listed.
  • Ownership verification and moderation decisions may rely on automated checks, manual review, user reports, or third-party information.
  • SQWARE may take action against listings that appear stale, deceptive, abusive, compromised, or inconsistent with platform standards.

5. Paid services, billing, and promotions

Some SQWARE services may be free, while others may require payment. If you purchase a paid service:

  • Pricing, billing model, and service scope will be presented at or before checkout where applicable.
  • Payments may be processed by Stripe or another third-party provider. By completing checkout, you authorize the applicable provider to process the transaction.
  • SQWARE may store order details, service configuration data, and provider reference IDs needed to fulfill, support, reconcile, or audit the order.
  • Unless otherwise stated at checkout or required by law, fees are generally non-refundable after a paid service has been provisioned, reserved, delivered, consumed, or materially committed for your use.
  • If a paid service is recurring, that recurring nature should be disclosed in the relevant checkout flow or service configuration. You remain responsible for applicable charges until properly canceled.
  • Promotional placement, hosting readiness, or other commerce-related services are provided subject to availability, technical feasibility, fraud review, payment status, and platform policy compliance.

6. Storefronts, digital goods, refunds, and server owner obligations

6.1 SQWARE storefront checkout model

Where SQWARE provides a public server storefront, buyers purchase digital goods through SQWARE for use on the relevant server. SQWARE operates the checkout flow, issues the buyer receipt, records the transaction, and handles payment-case intake and review. The server owner or operator supplies the package content, package descriptions, package rules, and in-game fulfillment behavior.

6.2 Server owner responsibilities

  • Server owners must accurately describe what a package includes, any eligibility limits, and any delivery conditions.
  • Server owners must clearly disclose material restrictions such as one-time use, wipe risk, expiry, randomness, crate-key mechanics, virtual currency limits, rank duration, or server-rule prerequisites.
  • Server owners must configure in-game fulfillment commands responsibly and must not use SQWARE storefront tooling to distribute unlawful, malicious, deceptive, or abusive content.
  • Server owners remain responsible for the underlying server-side behavior, including whether a package can actually be delivered and whether the package matches its public description.
  • Server owners must reasonably cooperate with SQWARE when we investigate delivery failures, misrepresentation claims, abuse reports, refund requests, or payment disputes.
  • Server owners must keep reasonably accurate records, logs, or other fulfillment evidence where available and must not tamper with delivery evidence, order records, package descriptions, or support communications after a dispute or refund issue arises.

6.3 Buyer support, refunds, and disputes

SQWARE handles buyer-facing payment support for SQWARE storefront transactions, including refund and dispute review. Refunds, credits, reversals, and similar outcomes are reviewed case by case based on payment status, delivery records, package disclosures, server rules, platform policy, fraud review, consumer protection requirements, and the facts of the transaction.

Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated at checkout, digital goods are generally not refundable merely because a buyer changed their mind after successful delivery. This is especially true for consumable, depleted, randomized, transferable, perishable, or non-recoverable digital goods and benefits, including examples such as crate keys, loot-style openings, virtual currency, one-time boosts, single-use kits, and similar items that may be used, spent, opened, transferred, or lost once delivered.

Claims that a purchase was unwanted, unauthorized, or made by another household member, friend, guild member, or account sharer may be reviewed in light of the available account, device, session, payment, gameplay, and fulfillment evidence. Use, redemption, transfer, spending, opening, or material enjoyment of the delivered digital goods may weigh against a refund or chargeback claim to the extent permitted by applicable law.

SQWARE may still approve a full or partial refund, credit, or other remedy where delivery fails, the package is materially misrepresented, fraud is suspected, applicable law requires it, or another platform or payment-integrity reason justifies doing so. The relevant server’s own rules may also affect eligibility or available remedies, but server rules do not override applicable law or SQWARE’s payment-integrity decisions.

If a payment dispute or chargeback occurs, SQWARE may review available evidence, contest the dispute through the applicable payment network or provider, place holds on related seller payouts, reverse transfers, recover amounts previously advanced, suspend access to related services, restrict associated accounts, report suspected fraud to payment providers or law enforcement where lawful and appropriate, and pursue civil recovery or other lawful remedies where reasonably necessary to protect buyers, the platform, or transaction integrity.

Nothing in these terms obligates SQWARE to issue a refund, credit, or goodwill adjustment where credible evidence shows successful delivery, use, redemption, transfer, or other material consumption of the purchased digital goods, except where required by applicable law.

6.4 Payouts to server owners

SQWARE may use connected payout accounts or other payout tooling to send eligible earnings to server owners. Payout timing, eligibility, holds, reserves, review periods, risk controls, and deductions may depend on fraud checks, refund exposure, chargeback exposure, policy compliance, account verification, and operational constraints. Connecting a payout account does not, by itself, make the server owner the buyer-facing merchant for SQWARE storefront sales unless SQWARE explicitly states otherwise.

Helpful summary: Buyers check out with SQWARE. Server owners provide the in-game goods and set server-specific package rules. Refunds and disputes are reviewed case by case, and consumable or non-recoverable items are usually less likely to qualify once delivered.

7. Third-party services and disclaimers

SQWARE may link to or integrate with third-party servers, communities, plugins, payment providers, hosting tools, APIs, social platforms, or websites. We are not responsible for third-party content, operations, uptime, data handling, billing practices, or security. Use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.

SQWARE is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect accuracy, bug-free operation, or that the platform will meet every use case, business goal, or moderation expectation.

8. Liability limits and responsibility

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SQWARE and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, goodwill, data, business opportunities, or use, arising from or related to the platform.

Where the law allows limitation of direct damages, SQWARE·s aggregate liability for claims arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to SQWARE for the specific paid service at issue in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $100.

You agree to be responsible for claims, losses, and costs arising from your unlawful conduct, infringement, fraud, or material breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict, de-rank, or terminate access to SQWARE, listings, or specific services where reasonably necessary to address abuse, fraud, security risks, legal exposure, payment issues, policy violations, inactivity, technical harm, or platform integrity concerns. This may include suspending storefront privileges, connected payouts, credits, or related accounts while an investigation is pending. You may stop using the platform at any time.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time. When material changes are made, we may update the effective date and take any additional notice steps required by applicable law. Continued use after updated terms take effect means the revised terms apply going forward.

Questions or disputes? Start by contacting SQWARE through the official support methods published on the platform. A surprisingly large number of problems are easier to solve without summoning dramatic courtroom music.
